To accelerate it’s growth, Ujjivan intends to hire ‘Manager- Centralized Operations’ at Delhi and Bangalore locations (2 positions)

Key Accountabilities:
Manager Operations shall report into Head of Operations and will have an exciting opportunity to build a world-class team and processes at a microfinance sector.

Hiring Specification

  • MBA with an Operations Management specialization (Preferably) with an engineering background preferred. 10 – 15 Yrs of experience in Operations Function of which minimum 2 yrs experience in Financial Services/ Banking Operations required
  • Keen to work in the social sector
  • People Management Skills.
  • Communication skills: ability to clearly communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work together as a team with strong interpersonal skills
  • Analytical skills- Essential for Accounting & monitoring
  • Project Management skills in terms of launching cost effective operational processes & services
  • Strong computer skills; working knowledge of software packages would be an added advantage


Responsibilities

  • Supervision of regional operations team – coach & guide the team
  • Responsible for accuracy of financial & non financial transactions posted in the system
  • Ensure no operational leakage of income
  • Timely & accurate accounting & reconciliation
  • Adherence to set service level standards
  • Funds management
  • Maintain & develop relationships with banks, outsourced and third party vendors
  • Ensure regional audit compliance
  • Ensure error free performance of the software with timely interaction with it
  • Ensure smooth functioning of operational systems for storage & data retrieval
  • Recruitment of operations staff in co-ordination with hr
  • Manage attrition
  • Provide job based training to operations team
  • Appraise & evaluate job performance of the team
  • Recommend sound operational procedures & documentation
  • Compliance with legal & regulatory requirements
