Grama Vidiyal Wins Transparency Award

Grama Vidiyal, a Unitus partner since 2004, received the "Srijan 2009 MFI Transparency Award" at the Srijan 2009 Microfinance Forum on December 8, 2009 in Mumbai.

According to Srijan, "Grama Vidiyal's presentation had the jury convinced on their efficiency of field officers, customer satisfaction and transparent business practices." 

The fourth annual forum, hosted by Intellecap and Standard Chartered Bank, was centered around social impact and innovation in the Indian microfinance sector. Four MFIs were recognized during the awards ceremony to a crowd of over 400 attendees.
